How long does one chew last?
It depends on your dog's size and chewing style, but because each chew is so dense it lasts far longer than rawhide or supermarket chews — most dogs get several sessions, often days, out of a single stick. Very strong chewers will get through it faster, but it still outlasts almost everything else.
Is it safe for my dog?
Yes — it's 100% natural with no chemicals, additives or preservatives. As with any chew, we recommend you supervise your dog, and remove and replace the final small piece once it gets down to bite-size, just to be safe.
My dog is a smaller or gentler chewer — will it be too hard?
It's a firm chew on purpose — that hardness is what makes it last. If your dog is small or a gentle chewer, simply soak the end in warm water for a few minutes to soften it before giving it to them. It works for most dogs; just pick the right size for their weight.
What is it made from? Are there any allergens?
Just yak and cow's milk, with a little lime juice and salt — naturally rich in protein and calcium. It's grain-free and gluten-free with no additives. It is dairy-based, so dogs with a known dairy intolerance may not suit it.
Is it suitable for puppies and older dogs?
It's ideal for adult dogs and older puppies with fully developed adult teeth. For very young puppies or senior dogs with dental issues, soften the chew in warm water first, and check with your vet if you're unsure.
Does it smell or leave a mess?

What do I do when the chew gets small?
Take the last small piece away, as any chew becomes a choking risk once small enough to swallow. A popular trick: pop the leftover nub in the microwave for about a minute and it puffs up into a light, crunchy treat.
